Women's Soccer Upended By Penn State Behrend

For the second straight match, The College of Wooster women's
soccer team outshot its opponent, but came up short on the scoreboard, as
the Scots lost to Penn State Behrend 2-0 on Wednesday (Sept. 6) in Erie, Pa.
The Scots, who outshot Heidelberg 20-8 and lost 3-2 just three days
earlier, fired eight shots at the Lions' goal, while allowing Penn State
Behrend to get off just five shots.
The difference in the contest was a strong performance from Lion
goalie Michelle Malatesta, who made seven saves en route to the shutout.
Offensively, Penn State Behrend's goals came in the 15th and 75th
minutes of the match.
