Sophomore Joanna Tysko (Athens, Ohio / Athens) was named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Second Team as an individual for The College of Wooster women's tennis team announced league officials on Tuesday, May 3. Among those nine wins were four NCAC victories, including a stretch of three-straight against Earlham College, Wittenberg University, and Allegheny College. She closed the season by winning her only completed match in the NCAC Tournament in straight-sets (6-3, 6-3) over Kristyn Paone of Allegheny. As a team, Wooster finished the season 8-13 overall and 3-5 in the NCAC under first-year head coach Lori Shulman. The Scots beat Allegheny 5-1 in the NCAC Tournament to claim sixth-place for the second consecutive season. |
