Sophomore Joanna Tysko (Athens, Ohio / Athens) was named to the All-North Coast Athletic Conference Second Team as an individual for The College of Wooster women's tennis team announced league officials on Tuesday, May 3. This is the second-straight honor for the Scots sophomore after also earning second-team status last season.

Tysko competed at the top of Wooster's lineup as the No. 1 singles player, compiling a 9-10 overall mark against some of the best players in the region. Among those nine wins were four NCAC victories, including a stretch of three-straight against Earlham College, Wittenberg University, and Allegheny College. She closed the season by winning her only completed match in the NCAC Tournament in straight-sets (6-3, 6-3) over Kristyn Paone of Allegheny.

As a team, Wooster finished the season 8-13 overall and 3-5 in the NCAC under first-year head coach Lori Shulman. The Scots beat Allegheny 5-1 in the NCAC Tournament to claim sixth-place for the second consecutive season.
