The Scots, who are now 3-8 overall and 2-4 in the NCAC, lost the top four matches in straight-sets, but demonstrated their depth at the bottom of the lineup. At the top of the order, junior Sara Stonewater lost 6-1, 6-1 to the Yeowomen's Sarah Jessee. Sophomore Kristin Walley dropped a 6-1, 6-0 decision to Alina Fotiu-Wojtowicz at second singles. In her first match since suffering an injury at Hilton Head, S.C., junior Ashley Fisher fell to Jill Brockleman 6-0, 6-1 at number-three. Next, freshman Sara Olson was beaten 6-1, 6-2 at the fourth singles spot by Beth Krupski. Freshman Amanda Bain improved to 6-0 in conference play for Wooster by topping Laura Koehn 6-2, 6-3 at number-five singles, while senior Ryan Clark lost her match at sixth singles to Leah Corn by scores of 7-6 (7-1), 2-1. Stonewater and Fisher teamed up for the first time in a month at number-one doubles, but lost to Jesse and Wojtowicz 8-3. Wooster earned its other points at second doubles where Walley and junior Lindsey Techel, who was playing her first match in a month as well, posted a 9-7 win over Brockleman and Krupski. In third doubles, Oberlin's Koehn and Lindsay Butler defeated Clark and Olson 8-5.
