Wesleyan in the Scots' North Coast Athletic Conference season-opener.
Wooster, which slipped to 1-5 overall, suffered several close losses in the
singles competition, but was swept easily in all three doubles matches.
The top two singles matches were straight-set victories for the
Battling Bishops, as Anna-Britt Mahler downed junior Sara Stonewater 6-1,
6-4 at number-one singles and Kristen Farrell topped sophomore Kristin
Walley 6-4, 6-3 at number-two.
The Scots' Sara Olson, a freshman, and Ryan Clark, a senior, fought
hard before losing at third and fourth singles, respectively. Olson fell

out the singles action was Katie Kneas' 8-4 win against freshman Neela
Satynurthy at number-six.
Ohio Wesleyan topped Wooster 8-3 at every doubles position led by
Mahler's and Heinze's defeat of Stonewater and Walley at number-one. In
