Today I clarified what assignments are due when. On September 24 you will have a newspaper article due concerning one disease. The disease list is linked to the Disease homepage. Please use this list to help you decide on a disease. You are not limited to these diseases.
September 11
I have inadverently caused some confusion concerning the assignment for next week (sorry). Since the Friday lecture is postponed, I am also postponing the assignment that the syllabus says is due on Monday. I will talk about the assignment on Monday. If you desire to get started , select a disease that you think could pose a worldwide health risk and look up its symptoms and try to describe them in your own words. To help you, I will have list of diseases in class on Monday

I announced in class today that Friday's lecture is postponed due to the class being canceled. The material will be covered the following Monday. The lecture originally scheduled for Wednesday, September 15 is canceled
