This site is primarily a database containing the latest information concerning the Tetrahymena genome project. However, there are several useful general pages such as a summary of Tetrahymena genetics and a detailed explanation as to how DNA -mediated transformation works in Tetrahymena.

Tetrahymena Genome analysis. An informative site concerning the Tetrahymena genes currently entered in GENBANK and an excellent table describing codon usage in Tetrahymena. This site is offered as service to the community by Kathleen Karrer's laboratory and is run by her student, Jeff Wuitschick.

Various pathological protozoa
