Module 2: The Fundamentals of Human Biology. (Weeks 4-5) The second module will be a set of lectures about biology and the nature of a gene. This will help you understand the subsequent modules by providing necessary background.

Modules 3: The Issues. (Weeks 6-11) The third module will be an exploration of some larger issues that have arisen in our society due to technological advances in biology.

Module 4: Making Choices. (Weeks 12-15) The fourth module will put you in the spotlight as you and a partner will guide us through the specifics of an issue that recent biological advances have created in our society. At the end of each module we will produce a consensus document that articulates the consensus position on the issue.
