Cathy enjoys fostering connections between students and opportunities that address their interests and goals. Before joining the College of Wooster in 2009, Cathy worked as an English as a Second language and Cultural Diversity trainer for corporate clients. She has spent extended time living and working outside the U.S., most significantly in the Tohoku region of Japan. At Wooster, her work in both Academic Advising and Experiential Learning allows her to help students mesh their academic interests with hands-on experience. Her responsibilities include:

Cathy holds a B.A. in International Studies from Earlham College and an M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the Monterey Institute of International Studies.
