Responsible for providing the leadership and vision necessary to develop and oversee prudent fiscal strategies that assure the continued financial strength of the College, including short and long-range financial planning and analysis, budget modeling, facilities planning, human resources, risk management, and investment oversight. The vice president works with the Investment Committee of the Board of Trustees and the director of college investments to manage the College’s endowment. She also plays an important role in the College’s on-going strategic planning process and will be engaged with faculty, staff, and other senior leaders in fostering communication and dialogue surrounding the College’s finances and institutional priorities.
Prior to coming to Wooster, McCormick was chief financial officer at Notre Dame of Maryland University, Clarke University, and Wabash College. She earned a Bachelor of Science Management and Administration degree from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Indiana University.
