Katie's research interests include animal behavior, ecology, and evolution, with a focus on the behavior of social insects. She has taught biology courses at the University of Michigan, The Ohio State University-Mansfield, and Ashland University. Katie has published peer-reviewed research articles in Insectes Sociaux and Behavioral Ecology.
