Post-Conflict Justice in Post-Conflict States: An Analysis of Factors Influencing the Decision to Undertake Reconciliation.

Senior Independent Study Topic

I will examine the role of post-conflict justice in states. Post-conflict justice consists of a variety of mechanisms such as prosecutions, truth-commissions, amnesty and memorialization. Specifically, I will attempt to answer: “What factors impact the likelihood of a post-conflict state to implement mechanisms of post-conflict justice?”

Other Research

During my semester abroad, I researched the way in which corporate social responsibility is being defined by corporate Nepal and how these definitions are influencing corporations’ activities and the motivation and rationale behind giving. The primary method of research was semi-structured interviews with fifteen corporations in the financial and tourism industries.

Off-Campus Studies
