 It
is every campaign chair’s dream to find a donor who can
single-handedly make a transforming gift. While such donors
do occasionally appear, they are extremely rare. At Wooster,
we do not have to wait for such a financial miracle, because
Independent Minds: The Campaign for Wooster is itself such
a gift — a gift that alumni, parents, and friends can
give to help transform Wooster into an even finer college.
Generous contributions from trustees, alumni, parents, and
friends have already begun to make a measurable and visible
difference by adding to the endowment and building needed
campus facilities. We have more to do to complete this journey.
By pooling our resources, we can help make Wooster even stronger — a
college with lofty goals, constantly adding value to an already
exceptional educational experience built on human capital,
financial stability, and an enduring mission.
By supporting Independent Minds: The Campaign for Wooster,
we can leave Wooster even better than we found it. This Campaign
is the transforming gift — not from one source, but
from many — that will demonstrate our persistent belief
in all the College has done for us, and all it can do for
