Chemistry Club Officers for the 2007-08 Academic Year

The purpose of Chemistry Club is to promote interest in chemistry both on and off campus through educational and recreational events. The officers for this year are as follows:

President:

Major: Chemistry
Class Year: 2008
Role: Responsible for conducting meetings and acts as a liaison between the Chemistry Club, faculty advisor, local ACS chapter, and other outside organizations as required. If necessary the president may take on additional projects/ duties for the Chemistry Club upon approval from the faculty advisor.

Vice-President:
Name: Allyson Buytendky

Major: Chemistry
Class Year: 2009
Role: Responsible for determining possible dates for seminars as well as selecting speakers and contacting them about details. The Vice-President of Seminars is also responsible for seminar publicity and creating a schedule for the speaker.

Class Year: 2009
Role: Responsible for taking minutes at the meetings and sending the minutes out via email to the entire Chemistry Club list. The Secretary is also responsible for managing other organizational tasks.
