RESEARCH LEAVE PROGRAM

Richard H. Bromund was awarded a Research Leave at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC for the 2002-03 academic year. He will develop and implement "laboratory-on-a-chip" methodologies in the laboratory of Dr. Greg E. Collins.

Virginia B. Pett was awarded a Research Leave for the academic year 2002-03, to be spent in the Laboratory for the Structure of Matter, part of the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Washington, D.C. She will work with John Konnert and Jerome Karle on new techniques for solving the structure of a protein from corn.
