- This agreement is between the individual named on the front of this
page (participant) and The College of Wooster. This agreement pertains
to the creation of a COW Card account, which is available to students,
staff, and faculty of the College of Wooster.
- The terms of this agreement will be as follows:
For Students – the duration of enrollment;
For Faculty and Staff – the duration of contracted employment.
- There is no annual fee and no minimum balance is required. The full
amount of your deposit will be available on your COW Card account. Initial
deposits must be $25 or more to open the account. After the initial deposit,
further deposits must be more than $5 unless made through credit cards
which have a $25 minimum.
- A COW Card account will be activated upon receipt of this agreement
at the Financial Services Counter. Deposits are processed as soon as
possible and are available within two working days of receipt.
- The participant’s COW Card will be the access device for the
COW Card account. The card must be presented at the time of purchase
and shall be the only means of accessing the participant’s account.
- The COW Card account is automatically closed at the end of this contract.
However, the participant may request that the account be closed at any
time; this request must be made using the Refund Request Form and submitted
to the Dean of Students office. The College of Wooster reserves the right
to charge a service fee to process the closing of an account. Refunds
on closed accounts will be made at the full value of the unused balance,
except no refunds will be made for balances less than $10.00. Any negative
COW Card balances will be billed to the student or charged to the Student’s
account.
- This account is non-transferable except at the discretion of the Dean
of Students between siblings. Additional ID may be required to ensure
that only the participant uses the account. The participant may be required
to sign a receipt for goods and services. No other individual may have
access or information on an account.
- The College of Wooster reserves the right to determine hours of operations
and pricing for the goods and services available for purchase with this
account.
- The participant should read the COW Card brochure to understand all
procedures related to the COW Card account.
- Lost or stolen cards should be reported to the Keys and ID Office as
soon as possible. A fee will be charged for replacement of lost, stolen,
or damaged cards.
- This agreement should be returned to the Financial Services Counter,
