"Digital Logic: An Exploration of Field Programmable Gate Arrays "
Jim Wallace 2005
Abstract
In Computer Sciences classes early on, you learn about digital logic and gain a grasp of what it does. Digital logic is so much more complex than Or, Nor, And or Nand gates that you become familiar with in lower level classes. There is higher-level logic that can be used to solve much more complex problems. Field Programmable Gate Arrays are one kind of high-level logic. In this Independent Study, the expansion of knowledge of all digital logic takes place along with the implementation of VHDL code that is used to program a Field Programmable Gate Array.
