How would you describe what you do?
I work as a member of a competent team of groundskeepers that seeks to maintain and improve the beauty and function of the outdoor environment at C.O.W.. My area of special interest is the care, preservation and promotion of our urban forest.
Length of service at the College:
I started here April 1990.
Where did you work before coming to the College?
Orrville Landscaping and Nursery and before that I owned the Wooden Nickel Inn in Apple Creek.
First Job:
Grocery carry-out at Hawkins Market
Educational Background:
Wooster High School, 2 A.A.S. degrees from OSU/ATI here in Wooster.
Family members:
I have three daughters-Laura works at a local group home,Krysta is a 2007 COW graduate, Anna is a senior at Wayndale High Both my parents live here in Wooster. Three younger sisters, Sharon-teaches animation in Portland Ore., Kathy-works here at The Wooster Inn, Lisa-a stay at home mom with THREE children under 5 yrs. old.
