How would you describe what you do?
An interesting bunch of tasks that are always changing and never boring. I
look at myself as an enabler and try to solve problems and treat callers
as I would like to be treated.
Length of service at the College:
My first day of work at COW was 6/13/77!!
Where did you work before coming to the College?
I was secretary to the plant manager at Buckeye Holmesville Mfg. Co. (Addressograph-Multigraph)
in Holmesville for a year until our first child was born. Back home I was
secretary to a V.P. at Owens-Illinois.
First Job:
As a child I picked berries for 10 cents a quart, and in my teens put price
tags on merchandise at the Lion Store in Toledo and was a sales clerk there.
Educational Background:
I graduated from Perrysburg High School in Perrysburg OH (Wood Co.), suburb
of Toledo, and from Capital U. in Columbus, OH.
Family members:
Older daughter: Debbie Harris, who is mother of my granddaughters Ashley, Amber,
and Allyse Conner, and Hallie Harris.
Younger daughter: Lisa Gregory and her husband Denny with their foster child
Waleili who is a year old. They are in the process of adopting her!
Favorite things outside of work:
Reading, singing, listening to music, playing the organ, and talking.
Favorite movie: "The King and I", "South Pacific", "The
Sound of Music", and "Gone with the Wind"
Favorite music (e.g., band, genre): They used to call it easy listening.
