Up to twenty extra-credit points may be added to your course total by submitting an individually-composed paper of not more than three typewritten double-spaced pages concerning the book "Murder at the Margin," by Marshall Jevons. The paper should contain a discussion of three economic concepts from the book. You may choose any three concepts and your discussion should take the following form:

1. Discuss the concept as we might do in class.

2. Describe how the concept relates to the story.

To receive any credit, your paper must be submitted prior to 9:30am on Tuesday November 30, 1999.
