     Adopt-a-Highway

As a group, Epsilon Kappa Omicron has completed our two-year commitment to keeping a two mile stretch of Ohio State Highway 30 clean through the Adopt-a-Highway program.  This entailed regular trips between the months of April and October to collect trash from either side of our stretch of highway.  We have fulfilled one full year of our commitment, and are finishing our second.

Relay for Life

Once again, Epsilon Kappa Omicron has committed to Relay for Life at the College of Wooster to raise money for the American Cancer Society.  Relay for Life is an event where teams gather at a track and are sponsored to have a member of the team walking the whole night through.  Our goal this year will be to raise $1000 for the ACS. Let us know if you'd like to help out.

Miscellaneous Community Service

The newly created Greek Internal Review Board has published standards requiring all Greek members to complete at least 10 hours of community service each semester.  Prior to this requirement, our club strove to support the community as often as possible; now we get credit for our efforts.  In order to meet the requirement of 10 hours of service each, we participate in many different service projects in the Wooster community.  We work at thrift stores, help out at the humane society, spend the occasional Saturday with Habitat for Humanity, and support many other service organizations with our time.
