Student Academic Support Centers
Helping students succeed is the ultimate goal of every faculty and staff member at Wooster, and the College has programs and services in place to help achieve that goal.
Career Services helps students bridge their liberal arts education with their career journey, with individual career advising and group programs.
The Center for Academic Advising supports first- and second-year students’ academic success with workshops, weekly electronic newsletters on campus, resources, and an academic peer mentoring program.
The Center for Diversity and Global Engagement serves as a point of coordination for numerous initiatives across the campus and the broader community that address issues of diversity in all its forms on both local and global levels.
The Learning Center offers individualized tutoring sessions for any Wooster student seeking assistance with study strategies or organizational or time management issues. It’s also the initial point of contact for students with disabilities.
The Lilly Project provides opportunities for the entire College community to engage in serious vocational discussion and reflection on what is worth doing and how one’s life can contribute to that which has ultimate significance.
The Math Center and Writing Center offer support to students who need to strengthen their skills in those areas.
