Individual Visits
The Office of Admissions is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as well as select Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to noon during the academic year.
You'll see our campus - the classrooms, the residence and dining halls, the facilities, the manicured greens - but what's more, you'll see whatever you want to see. Our tours are conducted by current students who will personalize your tour to meet your specific interests.
Tours are available Monday through Friday, at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m., and on select Saturdays. We strongly recommend that you make a reservation for a campus tour. If at all possible we try to match your tour guide with your areas of interest.
Begin learning about The College of Wooster's admissions process by attending an information session conducted by an admissions staff member. Information sessions are available Monday through Friday at 10:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. Information sessions are for students who want general information about the College and the application and financial aid process.
The admissions interview is a two-way exchange; you find out more about us as we learn more about you. At the end of the interview, parents are invited to join the conversation and ask questions. Reservations are strongly recommended and should be made at least one week prior to your visit. Interviews and are available Monday through Friday.
Class Visits
Let us know your academic interests and we will contact professors in those areas to arrange classes for you to attend and get a better sense of the Wooster classroom experience. Class visits are only offered while school is in session.
Meetings Across Campus
It is helpful and informative to speak with someone who shares your areas of interest. The Office of Admissions can arrange for you to meet with a professor, staff member, coach, or student to address specific questions regarding your involvement in a program. Requests for such appointments should be made at least one week prior to your anticipated visit. Faculty meetings are only available during the academic year. The admissions office will attempt to schedule coach meetings during the summer months.
Overnight Stays
As a residential college we pride ourselves on our campus community. Overnight stays are available for seniors for one night, Sunday through Thursday while classes are in session. Staying overnight on campus allows prospective students to eat in the dining hall, stay in the residence hall or on-campus house, and take part in the rich campus life outside of the classroom. Overnight stays must be reserved at least one week in advance to ensure availability. Overnight hosts are only available while school is in session and exams are not occurring.
