The College of Wooster Art Museum began as a small gallery in the 1930s to support the educational programs of the College. Since then, the museum has grown in space, collections, and its mission, bringing diverse, high-quality exhibitions to The College of Wooster campus community and to the community at large. Rotating exhibitions feature Wooster faculty and students, regional, national, and international artists, traveling exhibitions, and an annual exhibition selected from theĀ permanent collections.
Nationally and internationally recognized contemporary artists that haveĀ exhibited at Wooster include: Miriam Schapiro, Audrey Flack, Hung Liu, Ken Aptekar, Ann Hamilton; William Kentridge, Lorna Simpson, Jim Campbell, Mel Kendrick, Laylah Ali, Shahzia Sikander, Marcel Dzama, and Hiraki Sawa.
All exhibitions take place during the academic year and are FREE and open to the public.
