English 120, 200, and 401.
The three courses required for the English major are English 120 (Language, Literature, and Culture), English 200 (Writers as Readers), and English 401 (Junior Independent Study). The courses, as a sequence, introduce students to concepts central to the study of written texts. The following resources can assist students in the study of textual creation and interpretation.
