About The Club

The College of Wooster Equestrian Team is a charted club, and it is organized under the College's club sports umbrella. This team is unique in that anyone may be a member of the club. Most of the members compete in IHSA or IDA, however those who do not wish to show, are not committed. There are more than enough activities for all members including traveling to shows, clinics and shows outside of IHSA, therapeutic riding, weekend gatherings, movie nights, etc.

 
What's New?

Equestrians have a house on campus!

A few members have pulled together an opportunity for the team to volunteer time to help a local facility in Wooster that holds a therapeutic riding program called Reins for Life. Tina Lindstrom, the student coordinator of Reins for Life, along with the other members living in the College house are volunteering two hours every week to help out this Wooster stable. Volunteers help exercise and ride horses while also keeping up general barn maintenance. All club members may volunteer time while enjoying extra hours with horses.

The College of Wooster Equestrian Team would like to thank coach Karla Amass and everyone at Hidden Hollow Farms for a great year. All the countless hours of lessons and weekend shows were definitely worth it!. Thanks!
