Student Coordinator: Hannah LeGris
Description: The EAA Program consists of two branches:
Student Research Projects and an Annual Symposium of
lectures and events. These components provide venues
through which faculty and students may directly affect
environmental policy. The EAA is also in charge of the
Earth Day banquet, and co-sponsors Peace, Justice, and
Earth Week.
Peace by Peace
Leader: Maureen Sill
Description: Peace by Peace is a student run organization
that strives to promote action and awareness of social
justice issues through a comprehensive and community based
approach. By working with the greater Wooster community,
including other student run groups, the Office of Interfaith
Campus Ministries, Westminster Presbyterian Church, and
other area churches, Peace by Peace provides a conduit
for education, direct action, and sustained involvement
in attaining social justice.
Pueblo de Esperanza
Leader: Lauren Hines
Description: Pueblo de Esperanza, meaning Community of
Hope, is a student-run organization that focuses on issues
of social justice in Latin America. The group's two
main goals are awareness and action.
Vegan Co-Op
Leaders: Allie Passero
Description: This student group meets once a week on campus
to cook full meals with only vegan ingredients (no meat,
dairy products, eggs, etc). Funds are provided by the
students or there is a small charge at the door. Anyone
is welcome to come, and often the events are themed,
such as "Taste of Thailand" or "Thanksgiving
Pot-Luck."
Community Bike Program
Leader: Evan Heidtmann
Description: The function of this group is to provide bikes
for the campus community. Currently, Jenny is working
on being able to check bikes out of the library for student
use. This will promote reduction of motor
vehicle transportation and pollution.
WOODS
Leaders: Emily Long
Description: The Wooster Outdoors Club. We do outdoor activities
such as climbing, backpacking, hiking, and camping. We
llike to play outside, so we feel it's important to
protect it too.
Organic Food and Farming Program
Leader: Katherine Bell
Description: This program aims to create campus awareness
of organic food and farming through regularly helping
local Wayne County organic farmers, holding open-campus
organic food co-ops, and pushing initiatives to incorporate
organic products into the College's dining halls.

Dozens of volunteers particpipated in Scots in
Service Day at Wooster's Christmas Run Park The volunteers helped
restore the park, which was heavily damaged in a tornado.
