Goals for the Subcommittee, Green Buildings

Goals for Gault Manor: Discover if it is possible to find more sustainable alternatives for the paint and carpet going into the building.

General Goals:

• Obtain funding for energy monitors in the dorms/campus buildings.
• Raise awareness on campus about energy use through the monitors.
• Create a model that crosses the divide between current building practices and more sustainable practices, which may be used as an example in future presentations and projects.
• Discover the current 'green' practices on campus and how these practices may be followed more completely in all buildings with little cost/high effectiveness.
  

Adjunct professor of Education Roger Ramseyer ('59) and his wife Beverly were just two of the dozens of volunteers that were part of Wooster Scots in Service Day on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005. The Wooster volunteers worked on several projects at Christmas Run Park, while volunteers around the country worked on a total of 23 different projects.
