Parents & Families

Wooster Parents & Family Association

As parents and family members of a student at The College of Wooster, you are all members of the Wooster Parents & Family Association (WPFA). The Association is founded on the principle that parents and families of Wooster students are profoundly invested, not only in the educational achievements of their children, but in the prosperity and direction of the College as a whole. The more knowledgeable and connected you are, the more you can help further the mission of the College and enhance your own children’s educational experiences.

The goal of the WPFA is to provide opportunities for you to become better informed about Wooster and to connect with other parents and members of the campus community.

For more information, please contact Patty Wincek at 330-263-2325.

Four Year Calendar

This calendar provides many of the important dates in your student’s time at Wooster. Use this calendar to make plans from the first day of classes in the first year, to when your student walks across the stage for commencement in four years.

APEX is a place to dream, to plan, and to integrate your student’s education with the world of work. APEX is Wooster’s center for Advising, Planning, and Experiential Learning. It’s where your student will combine their plans for four years as a student with their goals for life after graduation. APEX empowers students to make informed and intentional choices about their academic, personal, and professional paths.

Every year, thousands current Wooster parents and parents of Wooster graduates make a gift to support academic and student programs at Wooster. Gifts to the Wooster Fund ensure that our students can pursue their passions inside and outside of the classroom. Please make your gift today!

Volunteer Opportunities

There are numerous volunteer opportunities for parents of Wooster students. Volunteering is a great way to stay connected to your student and be involved in the life of the College.
