Other Scholarship Opportunities
The Financial Aid Office has received information about
the following scholarships (listed according to application
deadline). This list will expand throughout the 2007-2008 academic year.
AICPA Graduate Scholarship Program
Liberal arts graduates wishing to pursue graduate accounting study may
apply for $5,000 John L. Carey Scholarships through the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants. Application forms and scholarships deadlines
are available in the financial aid office and online at the AICPA
Scholarship Program website. The application deadlines differ
for each scholarship.
AAUW Scholarships for Wayne County Women
The Wooster branch of the American Association of University Women is currently
accepting scholarship applications. Eligible candidates are Wayne county
residents enrolled in or planning to enroll in a four-year undergraduate
degree program. Scholarships are based on financial need, career goals,
community involvement, and recommendations. For additional information,

Scholarships for Wayne County Women website. Application deadlines
differ for each scholarship.
The Massillon Educational Loan Foundation offers loans of up to $2000 per year to students from western Stark County. These loans are interest-free while the student is in school. For further information and applications visit the foundation website.
Paul & Carol David Foundation scholarships for students from Stark County (OH)
Students graduating from Stark County high schools in 2008 are encouraged to apply for $5500 renewable need-based scholarships from The Paul & Carol David Foundation in Massillon, OH. Applications are available from high school guidance offices or online at www.DavidScholar.org.
Florence Allen Scholarships for Ohio Women
Florence Allen Scholarships are awarded annually by the BPW/OHIO Florence
Allen Endowment Fund to provide Ohio women with the opportunity to achieve
their full potential through education. Applicants must be women who will
graduate or have graduated from an Ohio high school prior to July 1, 2008,
must be U.S. citizens, and must be enrolled in classes full-time. For an

BPWOHIOFAEF@aol.com. Applications are due by April 1, 2008.
The Amici Italiani Scholarship Program for Wayne County residents
The Amici Italiani Scholarship program was created to honor and promote the values of scholastic achievement and Italian-American heritage in Wayne County, Ohio by providing financial assistance to students attending post-secondary schools in pursuit of their career and educational goals. The scholarship is based on merit and academic promise, not financial need. Although preference is given to applicants of Italian heritage, anyone may apply. Applicants must be Wayne County, OH residents, be enrolled full-time for fall 2008, and pursuing an associate or bachelors degree. Applications are available in the financial aid office. The application and all supporting documents must be mailed to Dr. Gaetano Guzzon, Chair, Amici Italiani Scholarship Committee P.O. Box 1624, Wooster, Ohio 44691. Polonia Foundation of Ohio Inc. Scholarships
Applications are now available in the financial aid office for scholarships offered by the Polonia Foundation
of Ohio to deserving students of Polish
ancestry who are residents of the State of Ohio. These grants are awarded
in Cleveland at the Foundation's annual Pulaski Banquet. Application requests and returns can be addressed
to Edward J. Jayjack at 2120 Pleasant Valley Rd., Parma, Ohio 44134. Applications
are due by June 15, 2008.
