Clean energy and global warming have been at the center of recent discussions on our campus and beyond. This year’s Forum will provide us with perspectives that inform our consideration of these issues, including poignant stories of triumphs over environmental injustices. The series invites us to take a close look at individuals who have been activists, advocates of human rights for a clean environment, and scientific investigators of environmental pollution and its effects on human health. They will challenge us to rethink our life styles, practices, and choices and model for us how individuals can make a difference. The Wooster Forum provides a valuable resource for the academic and intellectual life of the College community and serves as a focus for campus-wide discussions. The Forum seeks to create opportunities for meaningful dialogue between the various College constituencies – students, faculty, staff, and townspeople. You are cordially invited to attend these Forum events and engage with us in those discussions.
