The French Department at Wooster offers students the opportunity to develop proficiency in all aspects of the French language and to learn about and appreciate the culture and literature of French-speaking countries.

Individual students may plan their major according to their specific interests, focusing on literature, film, civilization, language and linguistics, or foreign language education.
