During the course of the semester, we will use various computer programs to make graphical and computational tasks learned earlier, much more easy. Some of these can be down-loaded directly from this page, while others can be acquired from other WEB pages and opened by utilities such as Stuffit Expander.

Programs for Orientation Analysis

 Stereonet
 Outstanding program written by Rick Allmendinger (Cornell U.) including just about anything you'd want to do on a stereonet. Plots rosenets as well. Both Mac and PC versions available

Programs for Fault Analysis

 FaultKin
 Another Rick Allmendinger program. This one performs various types of stress/strain analysis on populations of fault-slip data.
