Trip to the Mississippian-Pennsylvanian Boundary in Jackson County, Ohio
(Led by Professor Mark Wilson)

Elyssa Belding and Michael Krivicich begin to measure our stratigraphic column exposed about three miles north of Jackson, Ohio. Elyssa is sitting on the Mississippian Logan Formation; Michael's has his staff resting on the unconformity, above which is the Pennsylvanian Sharon Conglomerate.
