Elyssa Belding and Michael Krivicich begin to measure
our stratigraphic column exposed about three miles north
of Jackson, Ohio. Elyssa is sitting on the Mississippian
Logan Formation; Michael's has his staff resting on the
unconformity, above which is the Pennsylvanian Sharon
Conglomerate.
