Special Thanks

The Department recently received a beautiful collection of rocks, minerals, and fossils from Mrs. Catherine Wilson Chenevey. She and her late husband Francis became rockhounds over 50 years ago. They have been especially generous over the years to the Orrville High School geology program and other schoolchildren in Wayne County. The donation to us was facilitated by Mrs. Mary McCoy, Catherine's daughter. v

The Department also received a monetary gift from Brian (’87) and Janice Bodenbender, which was placed in the Sherman A. and Florence M. Wengerd Department of Geology Endowment Fund. v
