This is a list of the references that have most shaped my views - they are well-informed about the science behind climate change issues and take a pragmatic look at the future. Wally Broecker's Fossil Fuel and CO2 summary is straightforward and comes from a scientist who has viewed the issues for many years from all angles.A chapter by Lackner and Sachs presents a strategy for stemming the carbon dioxide buildup that includes Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS). The IPCC has a guide to CCS that gives the basics.

The release in the UK of the Stern Report on 31 October 2006, is a significant step toward a potential unprecendented commitment of a nation to the potential dire economic consequences of climate change. Take a look at the documents and commentary that surrounds the release of this report.

For Ohio the Ohio Environmental Council has an excellent Ohio Climate Roadmap.
