Work in ProgressPOWER PLANTPower Plant Project started in the summer of 2006. The Campus Grounds Dept. has been responsible for the site preparation which was done by Stout Excavating. This also included the installation of a 170 LF concrete retaining wall, TR Snyder Const. that defines the outer edge of the new driveway. The new driveway will be a combination of concrete, installed by TR and asphalt that is being installed by Most and Stanley Asphalt. The installation of 15 new evergreen trees by Davey Tree will help to begin the relandscape of the area. The restoration of the construction site will be done by Flory & Son. CAMPUS SIDEWALKSThe reconstruction existing brick sidewalks in the Oak Grove began in mid-May. This project consists of replacing 3585 SF of brick sidewalks with our campus standard brick sidewalk. This work is being preformed by Moser Concrete Const. Also, the installation of 1233 SF of new concrete sidewalk will be completed. The restoration of the construction site will be done by Flory & Son CULBERTSON HOUSEThis project started in the summer of 2006. It has included the relocation of Culbertson House. Culbertson was move to make way for a new residence hall, Gault Manor. This summer the Campus Grounds Dept. will begin to landscape the outside of Culbertson and Slater Houses. This includes the installation of a series of new concrete sidewalks, TR Snyder Const., a small barn stone retaining wall. The site prep will be done by Stout Excavating and Flory & Son. The landscape design and installation will be done by the College of Wooster Grounds Dept. GAULT MANORThe College of Wooster has begun the construction of a new residence hall that started in mid-May. This is a gift from the Gault Family. The landscaping will take place in May 2008. |
