Men of Harambee

The Men of Harambee is a campus oragnization that strives to build a understanding of the African-American experience, create ethnic pride and awareness, and uplift the community socially and academically.

Located on the College of Wooster campus, the Men of Harambee are currently in their thirty-fourth year of existence. Formed in 1968, the Men of Harambee represents a diverse group of Black and Third World Country Men at the College of Wooster.

The Men of Harambee sponsor many events including a Black History month program, several diversity forums, and educational speakers. The Men of Harambee are also proud to participate in a Big Brother program that helps African-American children from the Wooster area.

The Men of Harambee currently resides in Hider House on the south side of the College of Wooster campus. Seven members currently reside in Hider House.
