Students whose illness and injury occur outside clinic hours may come to the Student Wellness Center for evaluation by an RN 24 hours a day. Where necessary, nurses will contact a physician for orders, or refer the student to the emergency room. Most illnesses should be evaluated at the Student Wellness Center and can be dealt with by the staff.

A Cold Care Center and First Aid Station are available to help students evaluate and treat their cold symptoms, minor cuts and abrasions, blisters, burns and insect bites.
