How to Apply For a Job at Wooster

Faculty positions are finalized by the Vice President for Academic Affairs Office. Persons interested should send application materials to the search chair identified in the job opening posted on the “Faculty” link on the Human Resources Web page.

Hospitality Services & The Wooster Inn

Employment applications are accepted on a continuous basis for two applicant pools:

1. Hospitality Services
2. The Wooster Inn

Applicants may complete an application at any time. Human Resources will forward that application to the department that the applicant selects - if they have an opening. When positions open in one of these departments for which an applicant is qualified, the department will contact him/her for an interview. Human Resources does not select the applicants to interview.

All applications will be retained for 30 days, and may be extended by the applicant. If not extended by the applicant, the applications are no longer valid. To extend your application. Please contact Human Resources at (330) 263-2526.

All Other Openings

All other openings at the College will be posted on a bulletin board in the Human Resources Office, may be advertised in various newspapers and other publications, and may also be listed on the College of Wooster Job Opportunities webpage. 

These openings may include clerical, trades, professional/administrative, specialty workers, and other types of positions.

For these open positions, please follow the directions listed at the bottom of each advertisement to apply. Some request that resumes/applications be sent to Human Resources; some will request resumes/applications be sent directly to the hiring department.
