| Resolution of Greek Standards Co-Authored by: The Men of Xi Chi and The Women of Epsilon Kappa Omicron
Whereas it is the responsibility of the Inter-Greek Council to advise Social Organizations, and Whereas social organizations exist to serve benefits to both their individual members and to the campus community at large, And Whereas it is the responsibility of the Inter-Greek Council to provide incentive for the success of social organizations, And Whereas it is the role of the Inter-Greek Council to advise the Committee on Social Organization as to regulations regarding social organizations, And Whereas it is the purpose of Social Organizations on a college campus to better the lives of individual members of a Social Organization, and Whereas it is the purpose of Social Organizations to better the campus community by their existence and actions, Be it Resolved by the Inter-Greek Council that the Following Set of Greek Standards be Established as a Set of Necessary Criteria for Obtaining and Maintaining Status as a Chartered Social Organization at the College of Wooster. 1. Social Organization Shall Display a Positive Benefit to Individual Members by: a. Provide Support and guidance in Leadership Skills to the members of the organization. b. Hold regular events and meetings giving a place for socialization between the 2. Social Organizations Shall Display a Positive Benefit to the Campus Community at Large by: a. Sponsoring or Co-Sponsoring at least one All-Campus Event each semester. b. Completing at least one Community Service Project each semester. c. Completing at least one Campus Service Project each semester. 3. Social Organizations Shall Adhere to the Laws and Regulations of the State of Ohio, the City of Wooster, and the College of Wooster by: a. Not violating any city, state, or federal law b. Adhering to the code of Social Responsibility of the College of Wooster as listed in
