EXCAVATIONS

This picture was taken during a week-long excursion to the Greek isles. The sight is Malia, Crete and dates back to the Palacial period of Minoan civilization, circa 1300 B.C. Archaeologists have found this civilization to have had influence on Mycenian Greece, thus influencing the warrior society described in Homer's Illiad and Odysey.
