THROAT-SINGERS OF AMSTERDAM
This photograph was taken in Amsterdam,
Holland. While walking through the city, I came across these
Mongolian street performers playing music and throat-singing.
The picture is interesting because the musicians are sitting
in front of a famous Dutch painting by Vermeer. In actuality,
the painting is a poster advertisement for Amsterdam's largest
art museum, the Rijksmuseum. Additionally, you can see my reflection
in the poster glass. Three nationalities!
