Jessica DuPlagaJessica DuPlaga '00
While an undergraduate student at Wooster, Jessica participated in a junior-year study abroad program in Nantes, France, and went on to receive her M.A. in French Literature at New York University in Paris, followed by a Diplôme d'Etudes Specialisées in Cultural Administration from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Brussels, Belgium. She worked for a year in Brussels as a translation project manager before moving back to Nantes, France. It was in Nantes that Jessica entered into the professional world of international education with IES Abroad where she worked for four years in academic advising and student services.

After nearly seven years abroad, Jessica has decided to return to her native Ohio as the Interim Director of International and Off-Campus programs at the College of Wooster.

Living, studying and working abroad have been an integral part of Jessica's undergraduate, graduate and professional experiences, and she is devoted to sharing her passion for international education and helping students create positive and memorable international experiences for themselves.

 

Stevia Baldwin '08
Stevia is currently a senior at the College of Wooster majoring in Sociology. She recently finished a semester abroad in Milan, Italy. She believes in strongly advocating off-campus study. Her international experiences have taught her a great deal about life and herself, and thus she believes that everyone has much to gain from studying abroad. She is here to help those interested in study abroad programs in any way she can.

 

 

 

 

Rishabh Bhandari '09
Rishabh is currently a junior at the College of Wooster majoring in Economics. He is from Kolkata, India. Being an international student in the U.S., he is here to give students a first hand account of the experiences of studying abroad - the exposure to a world different from yours. The things you learn that you least expect to, that you integrate into your life forever. He is interested in helping students realize and understand the importance of studying abroad.

 

 

 

 

 

Irene Rhine '08
Irene Rhine is currently a senior at the College of Wooster majoring in German and International Relations with a concentration in Political Science. She recently finished a year abroad in Freiburg, Germany with the IES European Union and the IES Freiburg Program. With the European Union Program she was able to travel through much of Europe. Also in High School Irene studied abroad with AFS in San Gabriel, Ecuador. She is interested in helping students prepare to study abroad as well as hearing returnees' experiences.
