Copyright © 2007 by www.gpinv.org

The IPO is interested in learning more about your views and perspectives, and is requesting that you complete a short survey of 46 statements called the Global Perspectives Inventory. The survey should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. This inventory is a part of a study conducted by Kelly Carter Merrill, Ph.D. of the University of Hawai‘i and others from different universities who are studying personal development.

The data gathered from this part of the assessment will not be associated with your name, and will be used by The College to help us improve our services to you and encourage intercultural and intrapersonal learning and development. There are no foreseeable risks involved in responding to this survey beyond those experienced in everyday life. By completing the GPI, you are agreeing to participate in research. You are free to stop responding at any time. Confidentiality will be maintained to the degree permitted by the technology used and to the extent allowed by law. No absolute guarantees can be made regarding the confidentiality of electronic data. You will not be identified in anything written about this study.

If you have questions about this survey, please contact the International Program Office.
