Style Manuals

Style manuals are guides to correct formats for writing papers, complete with examples on how to do footnotes and write up a bibliography. Some include in-depth discussions on correct usage and punctuation. There are a variety of style manuals available, so it is a good idea to find out from your adviser which manual or manuals to follow. Online versions and/or electronic supplements to the style manuals listed below can be found on the Libraries' Writers Guide Web page.
