- Encyclopedia of Cultural Anthropology WOO Reference GN307 .E52 1996
- This four volume encyclopedia covers all of the sub-fields, important persons, topics, concepts, and organizations in the field of cultural anthropology. Each essay also includes a bibliography for further research.
- Encyclopedia of Social and Cultural Anthropology WOO Reference GN307 .E527 1996
- This one volume encyclopedia contains 231 articles which cover a broad range of topics relevant to cultural anthropology. Does include entries for some subjects not covered by the Encyclopedia of Cultural Anthropology.
- Encyclopedia of World Cultures WOO Reference GN550 .E53 1991
- This ten volume set provides comprehensive, authoritative descriptions of 1500+ cultural groups from around the world. Includes historical, political, linguistic, religious, social, economic and other information on each culture.
- History of Physical Anthropology: An Encyclopedia WOO Reference GN 50.3 .H57 1997
- This two volume encyclopedia covers the major areas and subfields of the discipline. It also includes biographical sketches of major and minor figures in the field and entries on the history and development of the discipline in countries around the world.

- Anthropology Plus
- Anthropology Plus brings together into one resource Anthropological Literature from Harvard University and Anthropological Index, Royal Anthropological Institute from the UK. Anthropology Plus provides extensive worldwide indexing of journal articles, reports, commentaries, edited works, and obituaries in the fields of social, cultural, physical, biological, and linguistic anthropology, ethnology, archaeology, folklore, material culture, and interdisciplinary studies. Coverage is from the late 19th century to the present.
- AnthroSource
- AnthroSource provides access to the full text of 15 peer-reviewed journals published by the American Anthropological Association (AAA). Additionally it provides access to the full-text archives of all journals published by the AAA.
- SocINDEX (EBSCOhost)
- Provides access to journal articles in sociology and related disciplines. Coverage goes back to 1895 for core titles which represent about one-fourth of this collection. Coverage is more recent for the remainder of the collection (ca. 1100 titles). Many citations link to the full text of articles.
- Sociological Abstracts (1963-2005)
- Provides access to journal articles, conference papers, books, & dissertations in sociology and related disciplines in the social & behavioral sciences from 1963-2005. Articles are drawn from an international selection of over 2600 journals.

- Provides access to the full content of a variety of scholarly journals. Coverage generally begins with volume one of a journal, and ends 2-5 years from the present. Journals may be browsed or searched. Includes the anthropology journal listed below. In addition, there are a number of interdisciplinary journals.

- Anthropology Resources on the Internet
- Annotated guide to many of the largest and most up-to-date collections of anthropology resources on the Internet. Maintained by the American Anthropological Association.
- Ethnographic Studies Resources
- Collection of resources in the areas of anthropology, ethnomusicology, folklore, and folk life. The site is maintained by the American Folklife Center at the U.S. Library of Congress.
- Indigenous Studies
- Site offered by The Center For World Indigenous Studies (CWIS) and the Chief George Manuel Library, in conjunction with the Australian National University's Aboriginal Studies WWW Virtual Library, and the Circumpolar WWW Virtual Library.
- WWW Virtual Library : Anthropology
- Site maintained by Anthro TECH, which was established in December 1997 to provide innovative Internet resources, services, and solutions for the anthropological community and general public.
