Academic Search Complete (EBSCOhost)
This database provides indexing/abstracts to over 4360 scholarly journals, popular magazines, and journals of commentary, including full text access to more than 3,430 of those publications/journals covering a wide variety of academic areas of study, including social sciences, humanities, education, computer sciences, engineering, language and linguistics, arts & literature, medical sciences, and ethnic studies. This database is updated on a daily basis. Coverage is from the early 1970's for some titles to the present.
Anthropological Index Online, Royal Anthropological Institute
(free access) Online version of the Anthropological Index to Current Periodicals in the Museum of Mankind Library, British Museum (incorporating the former Royal Anthropological Institute library). Coverage is from 1970-present, with limited coverage for the late 1960's.
Anthropology Plus (FirstSearch)
Indexes in one resource the highly respected Anthropological Literature from Harvard University and Anthropological Index, Royal Anthropological Institute from the UK. Anthropology Plus provides extensive worldwide indexing of journal articles, reports, commentaries, edited works, and obituaries in the fields of social, cultural, physical, biological, and linguistic anthropology, ethnology, archaeology, folklore, material culture, and interdisciplinary studies. Coverage is from 19th century-present.
Business Source Complete (EBSCOhost)
This database indexing/abstracts to over 3230 scholarly journals and business periodicals, over 2,710 of which are full text. Subjects covered are management, economics, finance, accounting, international business, etc. The database includes also country economic reports from the EIU, DRI-WEFA, ICON Group, and CountryWatch. Coverage is from 1965-present.
Cleveland News Index
Indexes "The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer" and "Cleveland Magazine." Coverage is from 1982-present.
Contemporary Women's Issues (1992-7/2006)

Newspaper Source (EBSCOhost)
This database provides indexing, abstracts, and full text for 171 regional U.S. newspapers, 20 international newspapers, 15 newswires and newspaper columns, 24 TV and radio news transcripts, The Christian Science Monitor, The Los Angeles Times, and USA Today (for a total of 233 full text newspapers and other sources). In addition, it contains indexing and abstracts for four national newspapers, including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal-Eastern Edition. Coverage is from 1995-present; most of the coverage is from 2000-present.
Ohio Capitol Connection
Formerly called Hannah Online, the Ohio Capitol Connection is a rich, comprehensive site which provides online access to primary and secondary local, state, and federal legal, political, and informational publications, directories, data, web sites, etc. related to the state of Ohio. Many of the publications or publication series include search features or classified subject/title/publication number access. Included are such things as Ohio and federal laws, bills, and other legislative sources.
OhioLINK Electronic Journal Center (Search Form)
This service enables the user to search the current Ohiolink database of electronic journals, which currently includes a growing database full text journals. It includes over 3000+ journals from such publishers as Academic Press, American Chemical Society, American Physical Society, Elsevier Science, Institute of Physics, Kluwer Academic Publishers, MCB University Press, Project MUSE (Johns Hopkins University Press), Royal Society of Chemistry, Springer-Verlag, Wiley. More publishers will be added over time.
Ohio's Laws, Rules & Constitution
This is an official site operated by the State of Ohio Government which provides free public access to Ohio laws, legal publications, and legislation in full text and searchable formats.
PAIS International
PAIS International indexes articles, books, conference proceedings, government documents, book chapters, internet sources, and statistical directories about public affairs. Abstracts are included for most records from 1985 to the present. Each year, PAIS indexers review more than 8000 books and issues of more than 1600 periodicals. Newspapers and newsletters are not indexed. PAIS international includes publications from over 120 countries throughout the world. In addition to English, some of the indexed materials are published in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish.Updated monthly. ProQuest Dissertations and Theses
Indexes the complete range of academic subjects appearing in doctoral dissertations accepted at accredited institutions since 1861. Masters theses, British dissertations, Canadian dissertations, and other European dissertations have been indexed selectively. It is the equivalent of Dissertation Abstracts International with the addition of online ordering functions. Updated monthly. Indexing coverage is from 1861-present. Abstracts included for doctoral dissertations from July 1980-present. Abstracts included for masters theses from Spring 1988-present.
Readers' Guide Retrospective
Readers' Guide Retrospective indexes both popular and general-interest magazines published in the United States. It indexes the same material as its' print counterpart, Readers' Guide to Periodical Literature for the same years. Coverage is from October 1963-1982. In the fall of 2002, coverage from 1890-1962 will be added.

The Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps, 1867-1970 (OhioLINK Digital Media Center) is a database of scanned images "...large scale street plans produced by the Sanborn Fire Insurance company from 1967 to 1970. Sanborn Maps show the outline of each building including the location of windows and doors together with street names, street and sidewalk widths, property boundaries, building use, and house and block numbers." SocINDEX (EBSCOhost)
Provides access to journal articles in sociology and related disciplines. Coverage goes back to 1895 for core titles which represent about one-fourth of this collection. Coverage is more recent for the remainder of the collection (ca. 1100 titles). Many citations link to the full text of articles.
Sociological Abstracts (1963-2005)
Indexes and provides abstract summaries of the world's literature in sociology and related disciplines, both theoretical and applied. It covers journal articles selected from over 2600 journals, abstracts of conference papers, relevant dissertation listings from Dissertation Abstracts International, book review, and books. Coverage is from 1963-present.
Sociological Collection (EBSCOhost)
This database provides indexing, abstracts, and links to full text of articles from over 620 journals in the field of sociology; over 580 of those journals are peer-reviewed titles.Sociological topics covered in the database include social behavior, human tendencies, interaction, relationships, community development, culture and social structure. A small number of journals indexed in the database (about 10) provide indexing and abstracts only. The bulk of the coverage is from 1970-present, with a few titles covered back into the 1960's.
STAT-USA

Urban Studies Abstracts
Urban Studies Abstracts includes bibliographic records covering essential areas related to urban studies, including urban affairs, community development, urban history, and other areas of key relevance to the discipline. Records are selected from many of the top titles within the discipline, including Journal of Urban Affairs, Urban Studies, and Canadian Journal of Urban Research.
Worldwide Political Science Abstracts (1975-7/2006)
Worldwide Political Science Abstracts provides citations, abstracts, and indexing of the international serials literature in political science and related fields, including international relations, law, and public administration / policy. The database keeps building on the merged backfiles of Political Science Abstracts, published by IFI/Plenum, 1975-2000, and ABC POL SCI, published by ABC-CLIO, 1984-2000. Currently it indexes 1010 titles, although coverage is expected to reach 1250 titles by 2002. Coverage is from 1975-present.
