The Lilly Project at the College of Wooster provides opportunities for the entire College community to engage in serious vocational exploration, discussion, and reflection. We intend to create a campus climate of engagement that focuses on questions of meaning and value: What is worth doing? How can our lives contribute to the welfare of others and the global community?
With two successive generous grants from the Lilly Endowment, the Lilly Project provides our students, faculty, and staff with vision, vocabulary, physical space, leadership, and communities of reflection that support transformation and commitment.
To this end, the funding has allowed us to develop both on and off-campus opportunities for vocational exploration. Each year, up to twelve students are selected to participate in funded summer vocational fellowships and academic programs. While off-campus, these students stay as close by as Orrville, Ohio or go as far away as India and Africa.
Please take a careful look at our programs and find out how you can engage with the Lilly Project for the Exploration of Vocation.
