Tom Blackford '91 Tom will be defending his Ph.D. thesis in mathematics at Ohio State this winter.

John Breitenbucher '92 John (and Kathy) now have a home in Columbus where John hopes to
complete his Ph.D. in mathematics this year.

Sue Fletcher '97 Sue has left the banking world and now is in the marketing department
of Diebold, Inc. in Canton, OH.

Jim Folk '95 Jim has resigned his teaching job at Copley High School (near Akron) and
now is in seminary at Trinity in Deerfield, IL.

Indradeep Ghosh '98 Indradeep reports that he has started graduate study in operations

Chris Guciardo '96 Chris finished his M.S. in mathematics at Virginia and now is working
in the Washington, D.C. area.

Mindy Jenkins '97 Mindy is regularly substitute teaching in the Cleveland area and has
joined the staff of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship working with the University of Akron

Joe Kostakis '96 After finishing his engineering degree at Washington University
(as a 3-2 student), Joe has followed his advisor to Johns Hopkins to complete an M.S.E. degree
in Electronic Systems and Signals. He notes the graduate work in electrical engineering is
heavily mathematical and a great opportunity for mathematics majors. kostakis@helios.cis.jhu.edu

Fred Maguire '76 Fred continues to live in Wyoming where he moved after graduation.
After many years of teaching he is now a school principal but continues to teach one class of

Vikas Malhotra '98 Vikas is a consultant with Hewitt Associates in Chicago.

Lorah (Way) Meech '98 Lorah is now working full time doing CAD/CAM for Rubbermaid in
Wooster and continuing to work on an M.S. in engineering at the University of Akron.

Scott Meech '95 After three years teaching and coaching at Smithville High School,
Scott entered the University of Akron this fall to begin an M.S. program in applied mathematics.
He is also teaching some intro algebra classes.

Cy Screwvala '96 After finishing an M.S. in Physics, Cy has started on an M.S. in Mathematics

Special Note
Paul Bialek, who taught at Wooster during 1993-94 and now is teaching at Trinity International
University in Deerfield, IL, married a librarian at Trinity this past summer. Professor Hampton
and his wife Barbara attended the wedding. Best wishes to Paul and Nancy!
