Fall Picnic - Camaraderie, a Hayride, Goats, and Real Food!
C. Elliot Strimbu

Students and faculty alike had a terrific time at the Annual Math and Computer Science Fall Picnic that was held at Dr. Ramsay's farm on Sept 27th. Students and faculty arrived at the Ramsay Farm in droves. A volleyball net, frisbee, and a trampoline were available for before-dinner entertainment. What can possibly be more exciting than watching a bunch of college seniors playing on a trampoline? The farm animals provided a bit of additional entertainment.

Grilled burgers and hotdogs were a welcomed change from the usual Sunday routine served in Lowry. (Maybe next year someone will think to bring sliced turkey and egg rolls to the picnic. We can only hope...)

This year's picnic featured the return of the hayride. Students, faculty, and families enjoyed a pleasant tour of the country spotted by the occasional house. Many thanks to all who brought food and also to the professors who grilled burgers. Thanks especially to Dr. Ramsay and his family for their hospitality.
